Constructed with braided cable in a way that recalls the ceramic technique of coiling, Coil Pots soften the classical pottery form and enable the objects to engage us in a tactile way. The rope-like cable used to make the Coil Pots are custom-braided on machinery from the 1940s before the forms are constructed and sewn by hand. Each pot stands at about 30", and is lightly stuffed to the middle horizontal color band. Shown in color-blocked natural wool, polypropylene, and Sunbrella yarns.
*Each color option produced in an edition of 25. Numbered at bottom.
