The Kylix centerpiece bowl takes its shape from the communal wine drinking vessels found at ancient Greek symposium parties. Meant to sit in the center of a table, the Kylix should be used for the communal rituals of a household: it is a place to find fresh fruit, or to drop letters and trinkets collected throughout the day.
Hand-formed with braided cable which is woven on machines from the 1940s, the bowl stands at about 10". Part of our woven vessel collection. Shown in etruscan multi cable with a black figure cable foot. Custom colors and collaborations are possible.
